The cooperation zone donated materials for COVID-19 prevention and control and community clinic construction to Qibangbu region

On the morning of April 23, Zambia Jiangxi Economic Cooperation Zone donated medical materials for the prevention and control of COVID-19 pneumonia to Qibangbu District, Central Province, and assisted local community clinics with construction materials.
Since the discovery of the COVID-19 on March 18, 2020, Zambia has now confirmed more than 70 cases. Zambia's medical conditions are backward, and once the epidemic begins to spread in the community, it will pose a great threat to the lives, health, and safety of the Zambian people. To assist the local government in epidemic prevention and control and community clinic construction in the cooperation zone, the cooperation zone donated masks, disinfectant, hand sanitizer, and building materials such as cement and roof tiles required for the construction of the Mukalashi community clinic to the Qibangbu regional government, with a total value of 100000 kwacha.
Xu Jianfeng, General Manager of Jiangxi United Industrial Investment Co., Ltd., on behalf of the cooperation zone, handed over the batch of aid materials to Mayor James of Qibangbu. Leaders such as the Chief of Qibangbu, Litta, and Member of Parliament, Kasuen, participated in the donation activity and expressed sincere gratitude to our cooperation zone for their donation actions.
