On May 25, 2022, company leaders paid a visit to the newly appointed Chinese Ambassador to Zambia. Ambassador Du Xiaohui, who had just taken office, warmly received General Manager Xu Jianfeng and his delegation.
General Manager Xu briefly reported to Ambassador Du on the background, construction and investment progress, epidemic safety, and party building work of the Zambia Jiangxi Economic Cooperation Zone project.
After listening to the work report, Ambassador Du Xiaohui affirmed the safety and epidemic prevention work and construction progress of the park. Ambassador Du Xiaohui pointed out that the construction and operation of the cooperation zone should have a sense of overall situation, not only do a good job in the construction of cooperation zone projects, but also obey the overall deployment of the country's "the Belt and Road", and should always be based on the overall situation of the great rejuvenation strategy of the Chinese nation; The development of the cooperation zone should combine promoting enterprise development with consolidating bilateral friendly cooperation between China and Zambia, and contribute to creating a favorable international political and economic environment. When it comes to party building activities, Ambassador Du Xiaohui emphasized that as a key overseas project of Jiangxi Province, the management team of the cooperation zone should first enhance its political stance, strengthen party building, and effectively implement the requirement of "building as many as possible" for branches, achieving "full coverage" of overseas party organizations. Party organizations are the guiding force of enterprises, and the role of party branches should be fully utilized. Ambassador Du Xiaohui requested that while the cooperation zone continues to do a good job in epidemic prevention and control and improve security guarantees, it must also work hard to strengthen its internal strength, consolidate its various preparations, and improve the business environment of the cooperation zone. Finally, Ambassador Du Xiaohui inquired about the difficulties and problems encountered in the construction of the cooperation zone, and stated that the embassy will coordinate with relevant departments in Zambia as soon as possible to strive for an early resolution of the issues.
